This pool project, the Hyatt Place on Delray Beach in Pineapple Grove
Florida called for EPS geofoam as light weight void fill under the
concrete pool. After reviewing the prints we sent over a quote for the
product and a preliminary sketch of how it was to be installed. The
contractor liked the price and layout. The real time saving part of the
project for the customer was the tapered sheets to form the bottom slope
of the pool. It was sloped at a 1/12 pitch in a 44’ run with all of the
pieces precut and labeled. The customer was very pleased with the geofoam and the documentation provided on site that made the
installation easy. They were also pleased that after the order was
placed we had the foam on the job within a week.
