When this manufacturer of bicycle wheels needed a custom cut eps foam for shipping their product while avoiding damage they contacted Universal foam Products. The solution, developed by the Savannah, GA based company and Kevin Baker was custom fabricated .9 lb virgin EPS pieces that held the bicycle wheel suspended in the corrugated carton while also protecting it from the four corners of the box. The packaging solution was flexible enough that a couple of different sizes was all that was needed to ship all of their wheel sizes.
