This customer in San Antonio, TX, used custom cut EPS foam blocks supplied by Universal Foam Products to create oversized book props for a high school marching band performance. Parent volunteers shaped the foam into giant books, added papier-mâché using a mixture of glues, and painted each book by hand. Additional foam was used to create realistic book covers and spines, while some props were reinforced with plexiglass to allow students to stand on them during the performance. This creative project shows how lightweight EPS foam can be used to make custom props for marching bands, theater productions, and school events.
