EPS is ideal for large movable props because it is lightweight, durable and can be carved, painted and textured. This marching band in Unionville, Pennsylvania took full advantage of the benefits for this competition. The EPS panels were cut and painted using hand tools and paint they had readily available. The ramp was built of 2x4s and plywood, then covered with EPS to give it the stone appearance. The doors were all EPS. The band won the competition.
