Using 1 lb. density, 12” thick x 4’ x 8’ Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam sheets, this customer in North Carolina created a custom wishing well display for charity donations at a local festival. The EPS foam sheets were easily bonded with construction adhesive and precision-shaped using a hot wire bow and hot knife, highlighting the versatility and ease of fabrication of Expanded Polystyrene foam. For a durable, finished appearance, the structure was coated with an exterior hard coat and colored using concrete dyes.
