Kevin Bender, a Life Scout in Lionville, Pennsylvania, constructed this floating dock in 6 feet. x 12 feet. sections using Formex encapsulated floats and pressure treated lumber. You can see the 2 x 6 flats around the base where 3/8” lags are screwed into the top of the encapsulated floats along the edges. The floating dock was built for an estimated 10 people using FF 6416-TM (4’ x 6’ x 16”) Formex floats.
