This communications company located in Greenwood, Indiana uses 1 lb density EPS foam panels to protect their equipment for LTL shipping. They purchase 1-1/2” x 48”x 96” sheets of 1 lb EPS and cut them using a hot knife with a 4-1/2” blade to size. The panels are then taped together to provide a protective cocoon around the telecommunications equipment.
