A Washington, DC artist used1 lb density EPS blocks an cylinders to create these sculptures for the MD National Capital Park and Planning Commission. The sculptures are now located in the court of an Activity Center in Laurel, MD. Blocks and a cylinder 35″ in diameter x 84″ were used to construct the pieces of art. The .9lb Virgin EPS foam was coated with 4 layers of cement and mesh before the mosaic tile was applied.
