Seven blocks of .9 lb Virgin EPS were used to float this dock in Millen, GA. The owners had Universal Foam Products cut the blocks to specific sizes so they would fit between the joists, which in turn helped secure the EPS floats in place. Blocks of .9 lb EPS are used for floating docks throughout the United States on private lakes and waterways. It is the same material used inside of encapsulated floats found in commercial marinas. Universal provides both the un-encapsulated blocks and encapsulated floats.
