The customer contacted Universal Foam Products for a large Expanded Polystyrene Foam cylinder, which they then transformed into a 6'4" beer can for the Irish Pub Atlantic City / Faith American Brewing Company. As a highly skilled artist, they shaped most of the cylinder by using molded jigs made from Luan and refined the surface with a palm sander.
The EPS foam was coated with EPSilon Pro by Smooth-On, followed by additional sanding. Any imperfections were patched with Free Form Air by Smooth-On, and a layer of polyester resin was applied for a smooth finish. Finally, the foam was painted with Rustoleum spray paint and wrapped in a 13oz vinyl wrap.
