John Herasymiuk, an incredibly talented sculptor from Bush, Louisiana, uses 1 lb density and 1.5 lb density EPS to create amazing sculptures. This particular sculpture, titled La Siren was created from a block of 1.5 lb density expanded polystyrene (EPS) 36” x 48” x 96”. Notice the water starting to drip from her hands and tail. The sculpture will be displayed at the New Orleans Healing Center until October 2014. After that it will be available for purchase.
