Universal Foam Products supplied this artist EPS Foam blocks 24” x 48” x 72” for a special project at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the movie Jaws. The museum’s exhibit features a partial recreation of “Bruce,” the famous shark from the film.
Starting with two large EPS blocks from Universal Foam Products, the team carefully sculpted the shark based on detailed reference images. The finished piece was hard-coated, painted, and enhanced with over 100 custom-molded resin teeth and epoxy-cast eyes. The sculpture is supported by a custom steel frame and displayed in a scenic environment designed to resemble the boat from the film.
