35 sheets of ½” x 48” x 96” expanded polystyrene (EPS) were used to carve this mosaic tile bench in Silver Spring, MD 20904. This is the latest of several creations from this artist using expanded polystyrene. EPS is rapidly becoming the preferred material for sculpting for artists throughout the country due to its light weight and ease of carving with an electric hot knife.
