In Mansfield, Texas, a local high school marching band turned to Universal Foam Products for materials to create a vibrant and imaginative set design. The band purchased eight sheets of 4” x 4’ x 8’ Expanded Polystyrene foam along with a hot knife for shaping.
Using the hot knife, the students and staff sculpted the EPS sheets to resemble colorful mountain formations, bringing creativity and visual excitement to their field performance. The lightweight EPS foam was then securely attached to the marching band stages, adding very little weight while providing a dramatic visual effect.
