1.5 lb density EPS (expanded polystyrene) was used to create this aerodynamic “flying machine” to compete in the Red Bull Flug Tag which always creates an interesting challenge for competitors working to produce a unique “flying” machine that may glide or may fall like a rock. TechShop Pittsburgh created this compact flying machine for entry into the Pittsburgh competition on August 5, 2017.
