In Portland, Oregon, a creative customer sourced six large blocks of EPS foam from Universal foam Products in both 1 lb and 1.5 lb densities to build a one of a kind “mutant vehicle” for the world-famous Burning Man festival.
The artist sculpted the EPS blocks using a variety of saws, knives, and sanders to achieve the vehicle’s unique shape and design. Once complete, the foam surfaces were finished with layers of vibrant latex paint, giving the project its bold, eye-catching look that stood out at the festival.
