23 foam blocks of 1 lb Virgin EPS 36” x 48” x 96” were used to create this giant rock formation for a production by The Connection Church in Texas. The project was designed, carved and coated by members of the church. 1 lb EPS is the most commonly used material for large carvings. It is best carved with a hot knife but can be carved using anything from a serrated knife to a chain saw.
