These photos show a 19 year old floating dock with un-encapsulated foam and a new floating dock using encapsulated floats. The top deck of the un-encapsulated floats are plywood and 2X6′ s, the bottom of the floats are 2X4 redwood , the top and bottom are connected with all thread rod. The customer upgraded because the 19 year old un-encapsulated docks was showing signs of wear.
