When M Natal Contractor’s needed EPS geofoam for an addition at the Folgers Coffee plant in New Orleans we contacted Universal Foam Products. Universal put together a very competitive price that helped us win the contract and delivered the geofoam in a timely manner to keep us on schedule. The project called for a slab to be formed over the EPS15 geofoam creating reinforced knee walls in the voids between the sections of geofoam. The edges of the sections of EPS15 needed to be chamfered and this was done on site to reduce the number of unique pieces of geofoam to be installed. The project went very smoothly.

This pool project, the Hyatt Place on Delray Beach in Pineapple Grove Florida called for EPS geofoam as light weight void fill under the concrete pool. After reviewing the prints we sent over a quote for the product and a preliminary sketch of how it was to be installed. The contractor liked the price and layout. The real time saving part of the project for the customer was the tapered sheets to form the bottom slope of the pool. It was sloped at a 1/12 pitch in a 44’ run with all of the pieces precut and labeled. The customer was very pleased with the geofoam and the documentation provided on site that made the installation easy. They were also pleased that after the order was placed we had the foam on the job within a week.
