I had the unique opportunity to quote EPS pieces for a high school parade float. The foam will be used to make a huge tiered cake. EPS will also be used to cover the dow rods that will support the top two tiers. EPS is being considered because it weighs less than wood and will be easier for the high school kids to work with.

I am currently quoting a job for one of the Presidential Libraries, which will be constructing a replica of the Berlin Wall. We carry blocks of EPS – Styrofoam as big as 48″ x 66″ x 288″ and if you need larger you can always glue them together. There are different densities of foam for each type of sculpting depending on the detail of the project. Contact me directly at 410-825-8300 to find out what density would work the best for your project.

We recently sold a customer EPS for packaging purposes. They plan to use the pieces to fill a 2-1/4″ void left in the box to prevent the items from moving during shipment.
We also recently quoted a returning customer custom cut EPS pieces to protect glass bottles during shipment. We are providing a custom wire cut center piece to fit the bottles since they aren’t a standard size. Partnered with flat top and bottom pieces the bottles arrive at their destination safe and sound.
I had an opportunity to quote and sell a high school located in the Northeast EPS blocks as props for their marching band. The blocks will be painted and decorated in the school’s colors. They plan to use them as portable platforms during various home games and band competitions over the coming school year. Good luck!
Adding insulation to your attic is easy with Styrofoam Brand Insulation or EPS rigid insulation. Universal Foam Products will deliver the insulation to your home precut to any thickness you like (the R-Value is between 4 and 5 per inch depending upon the material you choose) and 14-1/2” wide if your joists are 16” on center or 22-1/2” wide if your roof trusses are 24” on center. The material is easy to install (not messy like fiberglass insulation). It is very lightweight, economical and does not settle or lose its insulation value over time. I just quoted letters/words (ie APPLIANCES, ELECTRONICS, OFFICE) for the wall of a furniture/appliance store. They will be used to direct customers to different locations within the store. These will be coated and attached to the wall.
I am currently working on a project with my customer who will be using the EPS Foam cut out cylindrical shapes to create a Greek facade. When using the EPS for shapes, the possibilities are endless. Stay tuned for pictures.
A few days ago we worked on a project for an oversized Christian fish. The customer is using EPS as the design for the fish and will be doing the paint job themselves. It just goes to show that no project is too dull or over-creative. A finished project picture will follow soon.
